Opinions NEEDED!!

So… This humidity that everyone has been teasing us about…it’s made its first appearance. Ugghhhh!! It’s been hanging around for the last week or so with temps in the mid 80s and occasional rain. OMG!! I’m one cranky gal…at least while I’m outside!! I did our usual casual walk around the property yesterday to sweep up trash, check for weeds and make sure all the units were secured with a lock – no biggie – just one of the daily tasks around the Mini. EXCEPT when it’s 85 degrees with like 90% humidity… I was soaked, drenched in sweat, and I didn’t even really do anything… Yucko Bucko!! That’s when I decided this hair HAS TO GO!! I’ve had longer hair for like ever…but with this heat and humidity I can’t handle it. So, a new hairdo is in order!! But I haven’t been able to decide which one. I know it’ll have to be at least shoulder length and work with the wavy curls that come out in the humidity but exactly how different – Wild and Crazy – I want to go… Undecided.

Here’s what I’ve come up with while hunting the internet for ideas. I wanna know which new ‘do y’all think would be the cutest on little ole me!!

This last one is the most daring for me…that’s really short in the back… I have an appointment with a highly recommended hairstylist Friday so any input would be greatly appreciated!!

  1. 3 or 4 but it is still going to be hot you have thick hair and the bangs can be so hot but i do think you will look cute with either one

  2. Hi Kristy P! I say go with hairstyle #5. You don’t have to go that short in the back but I really like this hairstyle for you. Lov you πŸ™‚

  3. 3 or 4. I have natural curly hair and live in a very humid climate for a while. I kept my hair super short pixie style, BUT – I had to chemically straighten it often to keep it smooth. you may want to keep a bit of length so you can put it up, but it looks like 3 and 4 could work with wavy hair in humidity. Good luck – post pictures when you decide. πŸ™‚

  4. #2 or #4 because your hair already has waves in it. In reality, it’s whatever YOU like best!!

P.S. You definitely won’t be a happy non-camper when the temp is 99 with 90% humidity. Been there, done that. Yuck!

  5. Kristy, I’d go with super, duper short… or a style like #2 that you could tie up with a rubber band or clips. The heat and humidity are going to get worse and worse, and if you are like me, the feel of hair on your neck is going to feel like you are wearing a wool scarf when it’s 95 degrees out with 90% humidity.

I used to LOVE my hair long. But a shower-and-go haircut — or wearing long hair up off your neck — is a lot more appropriate for sweltering, deep South, steaming summers

You will look adorable no matter which one you choose! πŸ™‚

  6. 3 or 4 but 5 is really cute but with your hair and humidty might be alot of work to keep the fullness w/o the natural curls coming in. Love ya

  7. I’ve had 5 and love it off my neck but with your curls you can tie it up still. And bobbie pins are the latest rage again πŸ™‚ I’m in the same spot but letting grey show and leaning towards long so I can tie up and less maintenance unless I manage to learn how to hack it off myself. I’d lv to have curls!

  8. Pick the simplest one to keep your neck cool (long enough for pony tail?) and to keep looking good with minimum effort. Humidity is a killer (I remember lots of summers back east…)! Good luck.
