Thanksgiving – Everyday of the Year

thanksgiving-wallpaper-01Today we’ll be spending Thanksgiving with our Twinks from our Mini family. Rebecca is making everything we think of with a traditional Thanksgiving dinner even though it’s only going to be the 4 of us this year. Miss Queen of the Kitchen is going to knock our socks off!! We’re even getting a treat of cornbread dressing. A dish we’ve never heard of before but is a staple at her holiday table.

It’s amazing to look back on last Thanksgiving where we were thankful that Snowball was holding together and Chris was walking 14 miles a night for Amazon. It’s simply stunning how our life has changed over the past year. Our blessings over flow and the gratitude I feel is overwhelming. I try to count my blessings and admire the little things in my world but sometimes it’s simply breath-taking. We have gone from living without running water and literally having a penny to our name to a furnished rent-free gorgeous apartment (past and soon to be) with a healthy savings account and the bestest friends anyone could ever hope for. We are healthy and happy and safe and secure. We have everything we need and plenty we want. The best lesson I’ve learned over that past year is to be grateful for what you have. There are those that don’t have a roof over their head or food in their bellies or people who love them or a job or a car. Count your blessings daily so they may multiply.

Hope you are having a fabulously fun-filled day with friends and family counting your blessings for all the gifts that have been bestowed upon you. I’m thankful for you and wish you every happiness!!

With Much Love!!!

Kristy

  1. Kristy, I remember your days at Amazon. It is hard to believe it was only one year ago.

I, too, am overflowing with the blessings and goodness in our life. Gratitude is the key to making life feel rich and abundant.

I am so happy for you and Chris and your new, good life!
